Coach Naveed Halaldeen, is a Level 2 licensed Basketball Coach with over 10 years of experience and a proud baller with three championship trophies in Sri Lanka to his name and the Head Coach of the Finwin Basketball Academy. Since 2011, Coach Naveed, has groomed over 100 young ballers, both in Sri Lanka and the UAE. His first stint as a coach started off at reputed international, and Government schools in Sri Lanka, namely, OKI International School, Lyceum International School and St. Anthony’s College.
Furthermore, Coach Naveed levelled up his coaching career in UAE after being a part of top Basketball Clubs in Dubai and kick-starting his Level 3 qualification. He plans to share his basketball expertise and knowledge in Arabian soil and spread awareness of the soft-skills and other benefits Basketball can provide. Such as, improvement in physical health, endurance, concentration and self-discipline. He joins the Finwin Basketball Academy Dubai, to be able to produce the next world-class baller from the UAE.
